In Xabec it is taught a Training Education for Employment in the specialties of Industrial Maintenance, Building and Civil Works. The courses to obtain professional cards are authorized by the Regional Ministry of Industry in order to get official qualifications.

COURSE FOR INSTALLERS OF SOLAR PANELS: THERMAL AND PHOTOVOLTAIC

SOLAR THERMAL PANELS

Start date: february 8 to march 5, 2010
Horary: monday to friday from 18.30 h to 21.30 h
Requirements:
Demonstrate a minimum training course of 75 hours for heating and/or plumbing or proven experience of at least 1 year working as a plumber.
Contents: 1) Solar energy. Features and availability.
2) Daily and seasonal solar movement.
3) Types of solar collectors.
4) Energy incident on a surface.
5) Efficiency of sensors.
6) Energy transformation of solar radiation.
7) Inclination, orientation and shadows.
8) Calculation of thermal load.
9) Dimension of the installation elements.
10) Heat exchangers and accumulators.

SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC PANELS

Start date : april 19 to may 14, 2010
Horario: monday to friday from 18.30 h to 21.30 h
Requirements:
Demonstrate a minimum training course of 60 hours for electricity or proven experience of at least 1 year as an electrician.
